locally with CAPCA (California Association of Pest Control Advisors),
and are active Monterey Chapter members (State Sustaining
Members too) as well as Plant Doctor
presenters,
that provide children, in 3-4th grades, the opportunity
to learn about what is involved in crop pest protection in

Is Essential To Our Crop Protection...
Kleen
Globe Inc. implements
"integrated pest management" into all facets of
their crop protection. IPM is a form of pest management
that involves a strong awareness of the environment...
pesticides that pose the least amount of threat to people and
their property, are chosen for use and are applied only if
pest treatment thresholds are reached through diligent
monitoring. Although this pest management strategy may
incorporate pesticides, this is the last resort. Many
non-chemical practices, such as mating disruption, sanitation,
and various mechanical & physical methods, are integrated
into the pest control picture to reduce chemical inputs. The Sea
Mist/Kleen Globe Integrated Pest Management Team meet weekly to discuss field conditions, pesticide regulations, and pest management strategy & decisions.
Kleen Globe's current PCA'S include John Usher (Manager), Lionel Handel, Roel Rodriguez, Mark McLauglin, Luke Pawlak, and Jose Aguilar. The application team is headed by Diego Sanchez and Raul Roch.
